FREE REGISTRATION FOR PRIMARY PRODUCERS TO EXPIRE NEXT MONTH

Free registration has been available to all Primary Producer heavy vehicle operators since July 2018 and was due to expire on 30 June 2021.

However, due to the recent NSW COVID-19 lockdown and delays in passing new legislation, free registration has been extended to 30 November 2021.

It is understood that any Primary Producer heavy vehicle operator establishing or renewing registration due on or before 30 November 2021 will receive free registration.

If you recently renewed your registration that was due in November 2021, you may be entitled to a refund. All affected customers will be contacted by Transport for NSW in writing with a breakdown of the refund amount per vehicle. This will be followed by a cheque for the refund amount.

For new registrations or renewals due after 30 November 2021, the usual Primary Producer concessional registration charge will be payable for your vehicle for the next registration renewal period.
